Rare, romantic, and wonderfully rock and roll, this Georgian heart pendant turns the volume all the way up.
The heart, richly decorated with a flower-like cluster of glowing red rubies is surrounded by twinkling blue sapphires and punctuated with old-cut diamonds. Above, a sapphire-set ribbon bow creates an open, sculptural silhouette, while two further rubies ornament the beautifully detailed pendant bale.
The gems are set in white metal (tests as silver) at the front and backed in yellow metal (tests as gold), typical of fine jewellery craft at that time. Entirely handmade, the irregular arrangement of the stones and softly time-worn settings give the jewel its unmistakable Georgian character.
Named What About Love, this is an extraordinary survivor from the Georgian era that's gonna keep on rockin' and rollin'.
