International orders are sent by DHL Express or another trusted tracked carrier and will typically arrive within 2–5 working days following dispatch. Customs procedures can occasionally cause delays outside our control.

For full information, please see our Shipping & Delivery page.

Are you able to resize rings?

Often, yes. If you fall in love with a ring that isn't your size, please get in touch and we'll be happy to advise on the options.

Whether a ring can be resized depends on its age, construction, materials and design, so each piece needs to be considered individually.

We can arrange resizing where appropriate, with costs quoted on an individual basis. However, where possible, we recommend viewing or trying the ring before committing to an alteration, or having your ring size professionally checked by a local jeweller.

Please note that resizing or alteration may affect your right to return an item as an unwanted purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty or not as described.

Do you offer independent jewellery certificates?

Yes. We work with a trusted independent gemologist and jewellery specialist.

Selected pieces, particularly those above certain price points, may be accompanied by an independent jewellery certificate detailing the piece's identity, composition, gemstones and condition, where applicable.

Where a piece does not already have a certificate, we may be able to arrange one for you. Please contact hello@bluejeanbaby.co.uk for further information.

Please note that these certificates provide details about the piece and do not include a monetary valuation.

How do I know if my item is genuine?

Authenticity matters enormously to us.

We source through a trusted network of professional and experienced jewellery dealers and carefully inspect and research every piece before offering it for sale.

Depending on the piece, our assessment may include hallmarks and maker's marks, precious-metal testing, materials, construction techniques, signatures, stylistic characteristics and historical context.

Many antique and vintage pieces, particularly very old or foreign pieces, may not be hallmarked or have incomplete marks. Where appropriate, we also work with independent jewellery specialists to provide further assessment.

We carefully examine each piece for signs of age, alteration, repair or damage and disclose noteworthy condition issues of which we are aware.

Because antique jewellery does not always have complete documentation or provenance, it is not always possible to establish an exact date, maker or history. Where this is the case, we describe and date a piece according to our informed assessment and the information available to us.

What condition is my piece in?

Old jewellery has lived a little and that's part of why we love it.

As an antique or vintage piece, gentle signs of age and wear are part of its history and character. We carefully inspect every piece before listing it, and any noteworthy condition issues of which we are aware will be described and photographed clearly.

Please read the individual description and look through all photographs before purchasing. We're always happy to provide additional photographs or information if there's something you'd like to see more closely.
