This, my jewellery-loving friends, is a whopper of an Edwardian ring!
At the centre sits a luscious, deep blue oval 5-carat sapphire; its colour like cold, dark water. The sapphire is framed by a generous halo of sparkling old-cut diamonds - 3.3-carats of sparkling old-cut diamonds, in fact - in a beautifully scalloped platinum cluster setting.
This ring is superbly bold and simply cannot be ignored. And while it's so very rock-and-roll, it also possesses the elegance and romance of jewellery hailing from this period.
It's a classic, people. This will never go out of style. It would make a fantastic engagement ring or something extra special to slip on with your old Levi's for lunch with your lover.
