Oh the sweetness of this Georgian ring! What bejewelled and ribboned young lady wore it in the throws of romantic love back in the early parts of the 19th century? And who again since then?
Distinctive in late Georgian character, this ring was hand-crafted in 18-carat gold, luscious blue enamel, and centred with an elongated oval old-cut diamond in a scalloped collet setting. The shoulders are finely engraved with scrolling foliate detail and accented with rich blue enamel around the ring's shank, a most sought-after and unusual design detail.
