This vintage 70's 22-carat gold on sterling silver serpent bracelet coils once around the wrist to its tail tucked neatly behind its head. This is the kind of statement piece that needs nothing else. Cast in sterling silver with a warm gilt finish, the body is textured in a fine diamond scale pattern that catches light at every angle, tapering down to a sculpted head with ruby eyes. The open-ended coil design hinges open to fit and hugs the wrist with a hole and pin fastening to keep it secure.

For centuries, snake motifs have symbolised renewal, protection, and eternity via the coiled form. They saw a strong revival in 1970s design when designers leaned into bold, sculptural animal forms in gilt, silver, and gold-tone metals. This one has that decade's unmistakable confidence: glamorous, a little wild, and easy to wear.
