This Victorian snake ring was crafted in 18carat yellow gold and platinum and features diamond eyes with twenty-six graduated mixed, old cut diamonds running all the way down its spine. It holds a seed pearl in its mouth, symbolising wisdom and good fortune.

Snake motifs were popular in jewellery design in Victorian England, especially after Prince Albert presented Queen Victoria with a snake ring when he proposed. She wore it every day of her life thereafter.
